‘You are witnesses of all these things...But stay here in the city until the Holy Spirit comes and fills you with power from heaven.’ Luke 24:48-49
At his Ascension, Jesus instructs his disciples to remain in the city and wait until he sends his Holy Spirit upon them, before they go out and witness about him in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and to the ends of the Earth.
