We believe the whole of life is an opportunity and occasion for worshipping God, our Creator and Redeemer. However it is also important to meet together regularly, as God's family, to worship and listen to God and to encourage and support one another. At St Margaret's we have a variety of services and styles of worship. You are welcome to attend the service(s) which you find most helpful.
8.00am A quiet Anglican service using a modern form of the liturgy. Once a month the choir sings at this service.
10.15am This is a lively contemporary service structured around the modern liturgy. Children take part and are a part of this service. It is a colourful family occasion. There is plenty of singing - mostly modern songs are sung. The use of gifts of the Holy Spirit is encouraged. Although the service ends at about noon, people are encouraged to remain in worship and to receive ministry for as long as they desire. Tea and coffee are provided after the service, and once a month lunch is provided for everyone.
7pm A service with worship and prayer, but with the main focus on teaching. The teaching helps us to understand what the Bible says and apply it to our lives today.
Once a month (during school terms) the youth lead this as a lively all-age service called "Ignite".
6.30am Holy Communion Service
10.00am This is a quiet traditional service, using the 'old' 1662 Prayer Book Communion Service. The service lasts about 45 minutes and we have a morning tea together afterwards. Transport is provided for people who require it.
